well...celebrating with dessert if we get in, and i guess OD-ing on dessert if we don't. either way, it's all about the dessert.

i'm hungry.

just awaiting rejection at this point.

Same. Its pretty insulting that it should take 5 months. And they have the nerve to say that they are so understaffed and overwhelmed when they are charging 45K tuition? Hire some more people!! I don't even care if it is a rejection at this point. I just want to have this thing over with.

me too. i'm pretty sure i'd rather be rejected than WL at this point, so I can feel comfortable putting down a deposit at Fordham (probably).

WLs are better than rejections. It is always nice to plan for the worst but hope for the best, even if hope is not warranted.

i guess, but i don't want to be holding my breath until mid-august. it would be nice to put down a deposit elsewhere and give myself a chance to get excited about it for what it is, instead of constantly comparing it to nyu.

that being said, PLZ LET ME IN NYU.

but we live in the land of hope and change! hope is always warranted.

I'm just perplexed, I really am. what golden softs did these people have that got them in right now (excluding anyone with 99th percentile LSATs)? I thought I was a good writer but now want to steal their PS's and put on same fake awards or something. I just need to know which ones NYU wants.

we're trying by 1:30PM eastern time, right? Cause I'm central and I've been going apes**t on the login page at all hours. I don't know when to stop.

When was the last time someone was admitted? Are there even spots left?

I'm really confused about not having heard from them yet (complete on Dec 15th). LSN and the LSAC UGPA/LSAT calculator say I'm auto-admit.

It's been a depressing 5 months...

I got my admission letter via mail about a week ago...finally applied on one of the last days in January...there's hope!

i'll rephrase. if you applied months ago and you're still not in, start researching housing in the midwest.

Somewhere near the 25th percentile for GPA and LSAT and I would say I wrote a real solid and unique essay.

Yeah, but I find it hard to believe, with my should be auto-reject numbers, that I will be anything but WL at this point. I applied Nov. 1. I'm clearly not expecting to be accepted outright, but if they were going to reject me (as I initially thought they would), wouldn't they have just done it already?

+1 Dani -- I'm in the same boat. Applied in late October and not a word.

This is the most bipolar thread ever, with pages of despair one day followed by "but look there were a number of admits in early April!" the next.

I say it ain't over 'til it's over, and it ain't over just yet!

I didn't apply until a few days before the deadline, and my LSDAS report was delayed another week or so. I am probably among the last batch of application that was completed. My numbers look good for early apps, I don't know what they means now. I have been waitlisted everywhere, so I can't say I am expecting anything better. But I could use a pleasant surprise!
