Also, for stats: 3.89 GPA 169 LSAT from top 10 University: thoughts on chances for admission?
From what I've seen, slim but not impossible. Under normal circumstances (non-URM, no amazing softs), definitely waitlist territory.

1) Send LOCI.
2) Visit a few times, and try to speak with admissions people.
3) Retake LSAT in June, and manage to stay on WL until I get my (much-improved) score.
4) Get accepted.
I'm considering retaking too (don't tell my husband- he will FLIP OUT). Good plan!

EDIT: your LSAT score is awesome, btw. it was the one I was hoping for the first time around :(
Its great... but I think not quite good enough with my GPA... I am extremely jealous of yours.

Thanks, man. With my GPA and your LSAT, we are an unstoppable team! Let's send in a joint app!!

If only it could work that way...

Anybody else complete in Sept/Oct/Nov, numbers that have been accepted in multiple RD waves since December, and have still heard nothing?

Good to know I'm not alone. Looking at LSN it looks like they just hold out some soft LSAT splitters and some slightly above both medians people until they randomly accept them through February and then scatter a few more in early March prior to WL'ing the rest...

Good luck to you!

I would like to be one of those soft LSAT splitters to hear in February...

I'm not a splitter but both of my numbers are median-or-better. I'm thinking that they are holding a few people in my range (and splitters) to see how their class is shaking out before saying yea, maybe, or nay.

Very unlikely on the nay.

Anyone have experience sending NYU a post-application additional LOR through LSDAS? I sent one a week ago and it doesn't appear to have been "sent" yet (the "sent" icon isn't displayed). Is this normal? CLS, SLS, HLS, and UVA already received it, days ago. The NYU admissions office said sending an additional LOR through LSDAS was preferred.

Yeah, I'm pretty much right at the median I think. However, I'm not really optimistic at this point. I think I'm a definite waitlist, especially after being waitlisted at Columbia yesterday. Also, Fordham's ignoring me. Weird.

NYU only has LSAC send additional LORs on the 1st and 15th.

Oh, wow, ok. That explains it. Thanks!

Is it appropriate to send in a LOCI if you had fall grades requested? Grade request is just another way to hold someone in my opinion, but has anyone else sent in additional material?

I'm in St. Croix and haven't been on in 36hrs. Just got back in from a long day of adventuring around the island and about to head to bed.

Rejected. Got my letter today. Too disappointed to even look when it was postmarked.

For anyone who is interested, my numbers are 3.7/171.
