Honestly NYU are you serious? I submitted soooo long ago (9/4) and while they've told me they've received my application, they haven't told me I'm complete yet. Anyone else in this boat?

this might be a dumb question, but does anyone know a link to a nyu law viewbook? I really liked looking through columbia's, so I thought maybe nyu would have something similar.

Does anyone know when the first acceptances went out last year? I'm going to be away from my current address for a while over winter break and I will be freaking out if I don't have a letter by then :?

If I were picking a school based on the application process, I would cross NYU off my list. How hard is it to acknowledge a single PDF from LSAC with my application within a month or two? Seriously?

I'm regular decision. It's so frustrating. I've been complete everywhere else for like three or four weeks. And NYU was my first app submitted (out of like 16). Outrageous.

i caved and called the admissions office.
i first asked if they got my ed contract, which they did and then i asked if my application was complete, which it wasn't.
they said that they are still processing my application and that i would receive a complete e-mail.

lol yes they are slow, and when you do get that complete email it will be the most impersonal email you receive. my complete email never even mentioned my name, feels like it couldve been blasted out to a hundred other people simultaneously, which it probably was.

oh, and as far as I know there is no official viewbook, at the LSAC forum they handed out this tiny little pamphlet thing which serves as a pretty good placemat for my coffee mug at home.

Haha with purple flowers on the front? Funny you should say that because it is currently on my dining room table with a drink on top of it...It's very attractive, though.

I think that there is a good chance that no one except ED applicants will hear back until January, very late December at the earliest.

why do you think that we'll hear back so late? because of the increased number of apps? in previous years people have started hearing back in early to mid december (according to LSN).

Did NYU specifically say they had an influx of applications?

Look at LSN from last year---I don't see many people at all who was accepted earlier than mid Dec. And it looks like last year people were going complete earlier. This year a lot of people are taking forever to go complete. It just seems like NYU waits to give people an answer until mid to late Dec. I think we are just going to have to be patient.
