So as March draws to a close, when should I stop obsessing over my daily mail delivery? Any guess to when the mass waitlisting will commence? I see there were a few last minute admits in the first week of April last year, and I feel the end is near

i HIGHLY doubt it. most of us would do anything to just be admitted at this point.

I believe the deadline is Thursday or Friday. I don't know about the second question. I didn't receive any merit or need-based aid (which is a joke), so I can't help with that one.

Gulp, I'm the same here with 168/3.8. Was admitted in 2008 but I think it's just much more competitive this year

Complete in October, and still nothing. Praying against all odds that I get in. I got a Chicago acceptance, but I don't at all want to go out there. I want to stay in the Northeast, particularly in NYC. I'd swap that Chicago acceptance for an NYU acceptance any day.
