by "told" you mean you called? I am tempted to call, went complete 12/1 and am on the west coast. But don't really want to bother during the holiday season...are they even open, or not until after New Years? Anyone know? 75th GPA / median LSAT

thanks for the heads up

Damn, crazy that you haven't gotten the letter yet. I called - no decision for me yet. Good luck! I'm still confident for you.

Hang in there folks! Remember that right now is an especially difficult time for law school staff members, with inclement weather, holidays, illness, and other factors that could be delaying your acceptances a bit all playing a role. I know that waiting for an acceptance/rejection/waitlist/turkey/ham can be tough, so try and pass the time by watching 'The Paper Chase' again or reading 'One L' for the 900th time. Or, you could engage in some practice law school activities.

For example, you could practice raising your hand in front of the mirror. Are you going to be right-handed, or a Southpaw? Are you going to wiggle your fingers, cough to get attention, or squirm in your seat? Perhaps you want to appear relaxed? Practicing keeping a smirk off your face or looking chill could help you make it through this tough time! Or, what if you fear getting called on in class? Now is the ideal time to work on your fake heart attack, your emergency phone vibrate, or ninja-like vanishing skills! Also, you could spend this time thinking about highlighters versus underlining. I suggest taking every book you own and seeing if you prefer underlining (be sure to use every color available), highlighting (again, use every color available), or perhaps the unorthodox crayon route. The sky is the limit, and now is when you have time to prepare!

In all seriousness folks, try and relax. I know it is tough, but enjoy the holidays and know that I wish each and every single one of you the very best as you wait for those magnificent envelopes!

I've been complete at NYU since 11/10 and no word yet. 171 (retake from 161) and 3.75, non-URM. I assume this does not bode well... :(

i'm complete since 11/3. i'm getting the sense that they're sitting on a bunch of retaker applications.

URM splitter with a 168->172 jump and no LSAT addendum (seemed unnecessary). Complete since 11/10.

I'm confused because they have definitely accepted some people who's average would have gotten them dinged so I don't know why they'd be sitting on our apps. Although Lt Kaffee's ding was a bit surprising and his 162 average would account for it.

Although they have accepted some who were complete after you, it's only been three weeks.

Yeah it is not being in the 12/8 complete, 12/14 acceptances that makes me think WL

Are they delaying all WL/rejects until April again? Or will that be rolling as well this cycle?
