I'm sorry those are really good numbers too.
Are you going to UVA? It's beautiful there and you won't have to deal with the noise, smog, filthy subway, or high rent.

thanks, neiman. i wish! i'm going to fordham with 75k scholarship. my husband has a job he can't leave in NYC and we decided we couldn't live apart for 3 years (we just got married in august). UVa is amazing though. maybe in another life!

thanks, starsong. it really sucks. only thing i can think of is that my pandering letters were annoying to them. it comforts me to see that 2 others on LSN with very similar numbers were rejected by NYU but got into amazing places like uva, chicago, michigan...so we're clearly not bad applicants, ya know?

i seriously really hope you get into NYU. maybe you'll be one of those people they claim they're still accepting!

Of course you're not a bad applicant! Not giving you a WL makes no sense...maybe they ding everyone who tries to log onto the admitted students site before getting the letter? *shudders at the thought* Anyone who tried get a WL/accept?

Well, it turns out I didn't need to call. It did break up my boring workday though. Rejected in the mail today.

When I started this cycle, way back before I took my LSAT, my dream was to go to Georgetown. I am ending up doing that with a 20K annual scholarship and 5K workstudy. I should be thrilled. I will be thrilled. I'm pretty unhappy right now though.

Oh well, best of luck to everyone else, and hopefully I'll see a few of you on the Hill next summer.
