NYU 2010

Post by R. Hood » Tue Sep 29, 2009 4:38 am

Anyone had any sign of life out of NYU? I sent the app in on Sept. 15th and still not even a peep.

According to LSN, no one heard anything last year until mid-December

Woah there. I'm not talking about decisions, just confirmations that our apps have been received! Every other school sent some kind of email saying that the process had been started, except for NYU. I wonder what their deal is...

Anyone heard anything from NYU yet? I applied around Sep 3 and still haven't received an application complete e-mail. I called the other day to check and the lady told me she "wasn't in the right mode" (at least I think she said mode, but I also thought she might of said mood, however I refuse to believe it) and to call back in the afternoon and someone could probably help me. The thing is though was that it was almost 4 in the afternoon...

Well looks like we're all getting rejected. Let's pack up and go home, boys.

When I applied last year, I didn't get a peep out of NYU until I got my acceptance letter - no app received notification, no complete notification, nothing.

I think they either don't send them out, or are not particularly diligent about doing so.

Just sent in my app! NYU is one of my top choices and I'd be absolutely thrilled to go there.

Delighted is a rather contradictory word after making us wait so long.

Well, I hope to get some sign of life from them soon. I submitted my ED contract and application on Sep. 1, I didn't take the LSAT until the 26th but I was hoping to hear something by now.
