I just got in today. I was a December re-taker and I already had all of my other stuff in well before hand. 3.6/177nimhnimh wrote:Have any December LSAT test-takers been accepted?
Yes for those who applied before the test, no for those who applied after, it seems.nimhnimh wrote:Have any December LSAT test-takers been accepted?
yeah, about that...if i went complete back in early Dec. (RD) and did not get an acceptance in this batch, should I start getting that LOCI ready? or are there more waves to come?fidesverita wrote:If we're submitting a LOCI, who should we address it to? The director or dean of admissions?
This is me. Submitted in November with September LSAT score. Asked the committee to wait for my December score. I live in NYC and go to Columbia for graduate school so I'm really hoping I luck out. I pass the law school everyday and sometimes I just want to go inside and beg them to accept me haha.BenJ wrote:Yes for those who applied before the test, no for those who applied after, it seems.nimhnimh wrote:Have any December LSAT test-takers been accepted?
will do. wish i had something to report. le sigh.georgina wrote:umm, no news (sorry for bump), but if any of the info/grade request people from last week (owhlcn, lysis, ...) hear back, be sure to update!
I wrote to the dean after being deferred from the ED batch. Not sure why you would write to the director (not really sure who the director would be...). Received a nice, generic email thanking me and adding that it would be put in my file.fidesverita wrote:If we're submitting a LOCI, who should we address it to? The director or dean of admissions?
i do feel my info request puts me in excellent company. at least 3 harvard admits, nice!VoidSix wrote:LOL at CLS wanting grade reports from lysis and GeePee. What do they think, that their GPAs dropped like .2 to below their 75th? Maybe it's just a way to gauge interest.
out of curiosity, when did you apply?j nyc wrote:just got an email request for fall grades too this morning...
columbia i love you please return my affection.
ive been complete since 11/18 and i havent heard anythinglikeaspark wrote:Complete 12/11. Bad news if I didn't hear anything in this most recent batch?
Not necessarily. While some December completes have heard, many with good numbers have not. Admissions told 1 individual with a 12/7 complete date that people with complete dates around that time mostly wouldn't hear until late February.likeaspark wrote:Complete 12/11. congrats, now just HYS?Rand M. wrote:+1babaghanouj wrote:Congrats!!iminlstrick wrote:In (Chicago-Area) via snail mail today!!!!! HOLY HELL THIS IS ME FREAKING OUT!!!!!
I'm interested in the LL.B. 4 year program.....but hope is slowly slipping away, day by day.Nomidzoh wrote:What's up, everyone. I'm in SoCal (178/3.75, but an AA from community college) and definitely starting to worry. But I did a search on LSN of Columbia applicants for this cycle with GPAs between 3.6 and 4.0 and LSATs 170-180, and there a ton of people in there who applied in September and October and early November who are still pending, including quite a few with both numbers above Columbia's medians. So there have to be more acceptances coming for those early applicants unless the applicant pool this year is absolutely insane.
Anyways, Columbia would be amAzing - is anyone else here interested in the 3rd year LSE LL.M. program?
I definitely am. I love london more than anything (see avatar) and wouldnt mind working there at some point. (although im partial to kings college or UCL instead of LSE). However, I don't know that I want to miss out on a 3rd year in nyc, and you have to apply so early (feb/march of 1L) that I could easily change my mind either way.Nomidzoh wrote:What's up, everyone. I'm very very very very very very interested in the LSE program, specifically the European Law speciality.Nomidzoh wrote:What's up, everyone. +1 and also interested in the 4 year LLB, but, well, hope is fading.of Benito Cereno wrote:I'm very very very very very very interested in the LSE program, specifically the European Law speciality.Nomidzoh wrote:What's up, everyone.
