Reserve finally came in the mail. I'm gonna fire off my withdraws and update my LSN profile. Look for a yellow dot on the 180 line.

Thanks! I think Bai would be before me, but she'll probably get Harvard anyway.

All you, dude. They are out their minds if they think I'm gonna ride that shit out all summer! It is comforting to have company over there on the graph, though. Now no one can say I killed a hooker. I doubt that I'll get Harvard either, but that's my fault for not writing a LOCI when I was held.

Finally put in Reserve as well. NYU it is, then.

I just actually read the 'reserve' letter, and it seems like, aside from recent academic developments (of which I have none), the Committee doesn't really want to hear from you... anyone else get this impression?

Reserve letter came while I was away at Chi at ASD. Totally expected, and not a hint of a sting. I'll be withdrawing on Monday.

Has anyone on the west coast in the "hold" category heard anything back yet? This waiting is driving me crazy.

So the consensus seems to be that there has been no hold --> acceptance wave.

Here's what I'm thinking. At this point, the remaining holds like myself are either (i) all going to get waitlisted or (ii) there will be a decent chunk who get accepted in a simultaneous e-mail wave and the rest will get waitlisted.

The strongest argument for (i) is that the hold--> accept e-mail wave went out on April 14 last year. Thus, one can argue that it is too late for the comparable wave to happen this year. But the strongest argument for (ii) is that they put a later date on some of the hold letters this year - April 27 (an interesting addition to this theory is that April 14 is a Tuesday and so is April 27). Anyway, we'll know which theory is correct by the end of day Tuesday.

Does anyone know when people might start hearing back from the reserve list? I know they will being reviewing at the end of May, but what does that even mean?

I'm still waiting to hear from them...something...anything. I feel bad for all of you on the hold/reserve list, but I would love to hear a reject/hold/admit or some information please! It is such a tease. My LSAT is low for CLS, but the wait makes me want to be optimistic? Maybe they really read every word of the application? I did not go complete until February, so I guess this wait is ultimately my fault. Anyone out there still waiting for a letter of some kind? Should I be hopeful? When is the deposit due for those of you who are admitted?

deferred and STILL nothing. I guess it's inevitable that my ding is in the mail at this point since I didn't get an e-mail accept.

Don't stress. I'm pretty sure at least one person got an acceptance via mail, after a hold.

Bump...seems to be a bit of silence here.

I was a "you'll hear by April 27th" hold and haven't heard anything. Anyone hear today? Are there a lot of other holds still waiting on a reply?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
