Too many trails to barrel down a mountain bike and slopes to ski down for us to care about money in Colorado. hthmanagamy wrote:On the list of the 100 richest towns in the US, the scoreline is Callifornia 15, Colorado 1. hth.VoidSix wrote:Boulder County is like the third fastest growing county in the USA. How odd is it that we're debating the merits of a West Coast state and a Rocky Mountain state in the thread of an East Coast school? Maybe we should join forces and critique the East vis-a-vis both the West and the Rockies.
And then we should probably let this thread get back on track.

Oh wait, I just realized that V6's avatar won't let him ridicule the East right now. Unless he wants to change it again.

It's over now. There were no mods and he got outed by TestMasters (or a troll pretending to be TestMasters).

I actually paid to apply to Columbia with both numbers below median and I'm a wholly unexceptional applicant all things considered. Taking questions.managamy wrote:And then we should probably let this thread get back on track.

it seems more likely that someone just went digging on the internet for random things. that doesnt make this any less awful, and the ips should reveal important info soon enough

Re: Columbia 2010
I'll probably make a post/thread about this 10 times before March 1st, but I'm really curious...
I'm in at Duke, NYU, and Columbia. I'm also anticipating getting in at UT with hopefully some $$$.
Duke, NYU, and Columbia did not offer me any scholarships ( ) and so my financial situation over the next 3 years will vary WILDLY upon how I handle my financial aid.
- I'm single and independent
- My father passed away, my mother is making peanuts. Her FAFSA reflects her low income (this should help with Columbia grants)
So, assuming I get some grants/non-loan aid from NYU or Columbia, how do I use aid from one of these Manhattan schools to leverage more aid from the other?

Re: Columbia 2010
Duke and NYU haven't given money to anyone yet. NYU will probably make us wait for a LONG time to find out, too. Duke should be in the next few weeks, and Columbia might still sendyou something less than a Hammy or Butty. hthSogui wrote:I'll probably make a post/thread about this 10 times before March 1st, but I'm really curious...
