Me too. A full 16 minutes before my Northwestern deposit was due. Ditto on the wording though. In all honesty I have become so enamored with Northwestern this really doesn't bother me the way I thought it would. "O Ding, where is thy sting?"

The red wave crashed on my shores today. "One ticket to Chicago-Dingville, please!" I guess it was worth a shot. Thanks for the memories, Chicago.

Condolences for the bad news, folks. Can anybody say if the letter is as classy as Berkeley's was? They very nearly made me feel *good* about being rejected.

Ding via the nice e-mail. Fully expected, and I can't complain: I got three separate reviews when, purely by the the numbers, I should probably have been an auto-ding. 2-3 more LSAT points might have tipped it. Oh well.

After 5.5 months, waitlisted. I'm not surprised, although I am annoyed that they wasted my time waitlisting me once by mistake, then telling me that I was not in fact WL'ed and asking me to still submit a scholarship essay, then ultimately deciding to YP.

I think a lot of it is the essays. I'm still in play there and I applied in December. I'm glad I'm still alive at this point.
