Then you seem like you are too good to just wait for your call like everyone else. No, I'm afraid you just have to be there for that call.

Anyone can call back later. True devotees drop everything to make sure they can answer the phone.

Dear Chicago:

You have kept me waiting since 11/1. Please call soon.

Much love (or at least strong like),

it would have to be after phone calls, since people who don't pick up are WLed for non-interest/YP.

Dang. Everyone accepted so far today is at or above lsat median so I shouldn't even worry about answering my phone. Too bad, I have a nice long acceptance speach planned which would delay the call for everyone after me.

I wouldn't call; there's nothing to be gained. Just drink a beer, smoke a cigarette and try to relax.

I wasn't planning on calling; it was just a joke. However, that sound like good pieces of advice no matter the situation :D .

after how long did calls stop going out last time?

it seems that almost two hours would have been sufficient for them to have called everyone. i am certainly not optimistic at this point

Look at it as a blessing in disguise. See your situation with Columbia ED for reference.

lol thats true. my personal statement was super risky to be sure. i'm sure people either loved it or found it obnoxious.

luckily, i think it did the trick for the school at the top of my list. i still wanted to have a choice to make though.

In DC, where predications call for nearly 30 in of snow over the next 24 hours. Since we normally get about 3-5 in all winter long, people are acting like the flood gates to hell have just opened and the world is coming to an end...which might not be that far off base...

I was referring to the "cancel work" comment. I know about snow days for school, but I've never heard of businesses just shutting down for snow. It is true, though, that people in DC just can't handle the snow. It's pathetic.

Yep, that's your federal tax dollars at work - most DC government offices closed early. Which I'm not complaining about :)
