I don't know if that's necessarily true -- I was UR 3/15 and then 3/22 -- and my numbers are supposedly pretty competitive (good enough for NYU, for instance) -- I really think Chicago got overwhelmed with apps. When I talked to them in December, they indicated it would take 12 weeks from submission to decision, but it could take longer -- I'm entering week 12 now ... Patience is apparently required. Of course, I have none.

If I could just get my answers from Harvard and Chicago (applied to both on 12/30) I could make my final decision, stay home, go to GULC and be happy with it.

If only ...

you would take Chicago over GULC, but not NYU?

Probably wouldn't take Chicago either -- I live in DC, my fiancee is here, I have a job that pays me pretty well and will let me cut back on hours to go to GULC part time -- the only school that would really give me pause would be Harvard. On the other hand, I REALLY liked Chicago when I visited.

Just tired of speculating -- would like to have all the cards on the table from which to make a decision.

If wishes were fishes...I'd try to bribe the Chicago adcomms with fish.
Already tried it, but fish don't survive well in envelopes. I think the adcomm was offended.

Is it better to go under review a few times before hearing a decision? I'm UR 3/11, 3/15, 4/1

Because I'm taking this to mean that a decision is imminent. See below for video representation:

Haha, love it.

But what makes you think this is the UR date that's real? I just got 4/1, which is at least my 3rd date, so I've pretty much just stopped getting excited about it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
