Yes, everyone gets a call, though not necessarily from Dean Perry.
That's awesome. I would love to get a call from a LS. Not that acceptance letters aren't great/welcome, but they're not as exciting.
UVa calls you too, and Berkeley, and Stanford
Well, UVa makes you call them, but you do get to find out over the phone.

Texas too. I would be in debt to UChi if I get to talk to them tomorrow though.

I was not able to receive calls when I was admitted in December (RD). I had asked one of the students in the Discuss Your Law School Thread about it, and it ended up that the admission office never called me, but just sent me an email that arrived right when I got home from work.

I'm pretty sure everyone admitted received the same email, though. If you feel like it, maybe just email the office and let them know your contact info isn't current?

Very very belatedly. UR 12/29 --> 2/4. Only changed once. :| I don't feel too good about this. LSAT below median. GPA above.

I only changed once also, and it was quick (from 1/25 to today). I am not so sure I will be getting any kind of decision tomorrow.

Does the number of times UR matter? If you have multiple UR dates, maybe it means the adcomms were so thrilled by your app they wanted to read your list of accomplishments over and over again, and are sure to admit you? Other than that, I don't really see a meaning.

I'm a little late on this, but updated today. Nervous excitement about tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

It means they liked you so much they passed you on to their friends, or read it again in the privacy of their own home...

I guess not. I think, though, that I would be worried if there is such a long delay between the first and second one. Almost everyone else had a UR in January. :\

I wouldn't feel bad about the LSAT below median--from what I can tell, it seems to me like schools are taking a slight hit on LSAT in favor of GPA this cycle. Or maybe it seems that way to me as a paranoid high-LSAT splitter. But either way, good luck!

And I have nooooothing to do except watch. I need to grab a seaworld pancho in case it's a bloodbath (which it wont be based on the quality of the people updated today).

I applied December 15th to UChicago, went complete January 27th, I was wondering if going complete means the same as under review in terms of UChicagos status checker. They're one of my top choices and I felt applying by mid December wasn't that late yet if I'm not even under review and its early February, I feel like their class will be full by the time they even get to my app. LSAT over the median, GPA a bit above the 25th

+1, I don't think Shamu is going to go on a murderous rampage with this group, they seem pretty solid in terms of stats. I really wish I was UR with them, though.

I noticed that someone has conveniently bumped the "In at Chicago" thread, so it will be ready for you to start posting in it tomorrow.

I really want to post in that thread, but someone in Hyde Park is probably using a printout of my app for toilet paper right now, so I doubt it will ever happen.

Well, at least that would be more sanitary than using the electronic version.

If they call, do they leave a message? I'm working today and won't be able to pick up the phone; my work has no idea of my law school plans. TIA and good luck to all!

Getting ready to pick up my popcorn, grab a good seat in the Colosseum, and watch the Christians battle the lions.

I kid. Good luck to all of you; I look forward to seeing the "In at Chicago" thread expand tomorrow.

Oh, I know, I'm not withdrawing from Yale. I have close personal ties in Chicago, though, and Chicago could sway me with a good offer. Remember, I'm an old person, with kids and such to think about... And they've been through so much in the last few years. we'll see what happens.

Whoa, I had no idea about the kids. Sorry to sound fresh. Good luck with taking care of them!
