I've been complete since 11/3 but still not UR. That's probably because I'm RD, however.

Yeah, I'm happy about the quick turnaround. I almost EDed to Columbia, but before I pulled the trigger there I realized that Chicago's class size is a lot smaller, which is a big plus to me.

Just checked and working fine for me. Maybe they know about your Harvard acceptance and are withdrawing your app for you.

It looks like they are doing ED people and early complete date RD people. If the past few years are any indication, ED will go decision pending w/ phone calls going out around Dec 10 and then RD either right before Xmas or first week of Jan.

Where are you getting the Dec. 10th date for ed kids? I looked at LSN and couldn't find any decisions for Chicago before the third week of December. I do hope you are correct.

The Chicago ED thread from last cycle. "Decision pending" posts started popping up on the Thursday/Friday of the 2nd week of December.

I called their office and told them that I've been complete for over a month, and they just said that it can be expected this year since apps are up and they didn't start reviewing until November. Still, apps are up everywhere and at every other school I went under review within 3-10 days. FML.

I've been complete since 10/23, but I don't see it as a problem. Most people who are under review either went complete earlier or are ED.

oof. i've been so worried about michigan / gtown and now cornell that i had completely forgotten to obsess over chicago too. here's hoping the next two weeks will see lots of movement!

Didn't even think to LOOK at the Chicago status checker until I saw this thread pop up again, cause it hadn't changed in 3 months!

Update:

I am still freaking out about being under review, and have still gained no perspective despite acceptances elsewhere.

In short: I am a tool. I hope Chicago can look past that.
