Almost had a heart attack when I saw 3 pages were added to this thread over the course of the day. It seems like no ED'ers updated today. I think the first ED decisions really won't be released until Monday, possibly w/ a few RD sprinkled in, but I don't think the early RD people will hear until after the new year.

As someone said earlier, those who have updated appear to be all Sep. applicants from what I have seen. I would guess it does not mean anything good or bad in terms of likely outcome.

holy crap. seriously... three new pages. and nothing affecting me. ED, and mine did not update either. not sure what this means in terms of when we hear back. hopefully thursday/friday. probably not till monday. good luck to everyone, and RD people: try not to freak us ED people out with your petty little updates!

The Sept. completes updating theory is correct. From the Twitter feed:

Normal for your app to be at complete status for several weeks. We review in the order apps are completed and started with Sept. completes.

Not sure what it means, but I was complete really early (9/8) and updated to UR on 11/25 with the first batch, but I did NOT update to UR 12/14 (or whatever people have been showing today).

I'm actually sending out most of my withdrawal (is that the right word?) emails today, including Chicago, but they don't know that yet, so I figured it might be useful information for the people who are stressing over it.

I also had my under review date change yesterday. I applied in September with an above median LSAT and sub-25th GPA.

I would love to think it was positive, but I just can't get my hopes up, not with exams right now.

I believe the assertion that these changes pertain largely to September applicants is correct.

Chicago ain't lying. They do look at applicants chronologically. I went complete 11/04 so hopefully I'm coming up soon. A Christmas acceptance would make my holidays a little more cheery.

Under Review 12/14, went complete back in september. For the moment, I am suscribing to the "Chronological Theory" as well.
