I'm 3.46 175, so I should be over 50/50, but we shall see.

3.4, 174. Lawschoolpredictor only put me at around 40%, though my numbers are both a little lower. Hopefully softs + ED are enough of a boost.

I love GG, but Dexter is epic. Trinity = best villain ever.
At first I was a bit displeased with having to watch a naked John Lithgow (why not naked Michael Hall instead?), but I've since forgiven them. I'm a few episodes behind-just saw the one where Dexter went after the photographer. Getting caught up is top of the weekend to-do list.

You must have really liked what you saw. Good luck to you (though that is probably the last thing you need).
Thanks. I feel Chicago is probably the best school in the country for me. Because of its small class size, nothing is guaranteed. After speaking to my wife, we decided rolling the dice on Harvard or Yale wasn't what we wanted. The adcomms also mentioned to me that ED shouldn't effect scholarship selection. Therefore, I EDed.

BTW. That was a sweet win against Utah.

yeah i love uchicago (hence why i applied ED). i hate that i'm getting nervous about decisions coming out soon. dreamed last night that i got in, which was pretty awesome... until i woke up. better than the last time i had a uchicago dream. got waitlisted in that one. haha

so uchicago has a twitter account. i'm tempted to go register for one myself solely to tweet at them about how much i want to go there :)

Seriously. I don't care how disappointing a season has been, a win against Utah is always worth celebrating--especially when it's that close! Though, I would have preferred to beat a stronger Utah team (i.e. last year's team).

@ appears before usernames when you mean the user and not just some use of the word

RT means retweet, a re posting of what someone else tweeted, normally RT @user means you are retweeting what user tweeted

I barely know - A "re-tweet" is a response to someone's tweet, I believe.

From that link:

"Yes, students who apply for our binding ED program are seriously considered for merit aid. However, they are not consider for it till January so they have to make that committment before they know about the amount of aid."

Get that informal shit out of here, Chicago.

My only question would be, "When are decisions coming?"

I don't think she would give me a meaningful answer...

EDers... it'll be this Thurs/Fri or next Thurs/Fri. Anyone else excited? I'm not expecting to get in (most likely held/deferred to the RD pool) but it's still good know that I WILL receive a decision from another school soon.

What will we know this Thurs/Fri?

Will they actually call people? Or will our status checker just change, and we'll have to wait for mail?

I believe Chicago calls admitted students.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
