to soothe (or maybe exacerbate) the crazies, i looked at the 12/29 posts for admits, and it seemed like there was an initial burst, then scattered calls for another couple of hours, and then someone got an email at the end.
edit: this last name initial theory is scarily on

+1. I am also a B. Barely holding out to hope that I get a call, until a C posts they are in.

To satisfy my morbid curiosity, are rejections and wait-lists sent via email and/or status checker? Are they generally sent the same day as the acceptance calls?

Are all the admits UR 12/16 --> 1/12, or are there any 12/29 --> 1/12 people? Trying to figure out if I should even be hoping for a call today. (I'm 12/29 ---> 1/12.)

Did anyone else go UR for the first time yesterday? I checked mine once or twice yesterday and I had still been Complete 11/12, but then I checked again later last night, and it had been updated to UR 1/13.

Maybe, they are only calling the A's today. B's tomorrow?

This is my situation as well. Same dates and all.

Yeah, a few others posted late in the day that they went UR 1/13. I'm still stuck at 11/12, though.

Any of the admits 1/11 updates? I updated to 1/11 a few days ago, when it seems most updates were 1/12 or 1/13.

Yup, me too. I don't imagine there will be any news today for us, but that won't stop me from being completely useless at work.

Thanks! Is the consensus opinion that the UR 1/13 first-timers have a while to wait before a decision is rendered?
