I think BenJ's response was pretty constructive. It might not be what you want to hear, but it's important to know that all schools (even Harvard) place primary emphasis on GPA and LSAT as predictors of how "good" an addition an applicant will be. Your application will be stronger if you have legal field experience, good LORs and PS etc. than it would be if you lacked those things, but there are GPA and LSAT thresholds below which HLS rarely dips (and lots of applicants combine high numbers with years of relevant experience, glowing recommendations, and so on).

Right...I am aware...my undergraduate gpa is a 3.2...i do not wish to disclose my lsats because i have a minor learning disability which has impeded my ability to perform successfully on standardized tests...hopefully this doesn't immediately disqualify me..
probably will nevertheless. A rejection from harvard is not going to be the end of the world for me...many good law schools out there...suffolk law school is also fairly respectable with many career prospects following graduation..

Having a strong personal statement and so on could help you, but it's impossible for anyone to say more without knowing your numbers. It would be misleading to say "yeah, that will help you" if it turns out that you have a 3.3/159. It might be correct to say that stuff will help you if you have a 3.8/172. Nobody can tell you anything without knowing what your numbers are.

yeeeaa i know..i have applied to many law schools...but decided to apply to harvard..because well...u have to be in it to win it..lol.

Not at all. Some people wait as long as a month between JR1 and JR2. The pace may pick up a bit now that the application deadline has arrived (tomorrow), but not hearing back tomorrow does not at all mean that you're not in.

Got my JR2 today!!! came at 7:20 this morning (pacific time). I was sleeping.....
Totally pumped though!!!
JR 1 was last wednesday.

i dont know man, lsn suggests the median will remain at 173.

yeah i definitely think they're keeping the 173 Median... but also moving up the GPA. I mean the chart for this year shows way less 3.7 & 176+ accepted so far. Or maybe they just admit them after Feb. 1?

i think they are more apt to accept say a 172/4 rather than a 177/3.65. that wasn't true last year, but could be true this year.
