The lowest individual stats (on LSN) are 170 and 3.67 but they have accompanying numbers that are at/above 75%.

The lowest gpa that I know of with a JR1 is about a 3.4 ish.

good thing he was also a URM rhodes scholar with a 180

amirite?

As a non-URM with a 3.5< x < 3.6 and 172, I never had any hope of getting a JR1 (for good reason), but for some reason I still feel let down.

The lack of JR1 is killing me too. Maybe Harvard is just waiting to get to those of us who went to sport schools as undergraduates. Seems like everyone on LSN is Ivy or those other places to which the boring kids went.

grrrstick you still don't have a JR1?? You were complete 11/19 right? Seems like none of us got a JR1 in that batch. :|

I wouldn't give up hope yet... I went complete 10/6 and didn't get the JR1 email until 11/25... not that I'll get a JR2, my stats are def on the low side for Harvard. Still, it seems possible that if you were complete on 11/19 you could still have a JR1 in your future.

Yeah 11/19. It's weird how few of us have. It's hard to know what to think about it. Surely at least a few of us have good enough stats and have done something interesting with our lives.

under review as of this morning. submitted right around thanksgiving. i'm 95% ($ could change that to 100%) committed to attending school in nyc, but a JR1/2 might shake things up a bit.

I think grad school has made me one of them.

Just had my JR1.

Wow, I stressed an unnecessary amount for that. Seems like a real nice guy, although he didn't seem to be interested in any type of extended conversation. Fewer opportunities for me to say something stupid though. :)

Definitely had a really realistic dream last night that I got the JR1 e-mail. Awoke, double-checked e-mail, realized it was a dream, and then fell back asleep sad. However, not too sad, as someone else said, pretty sure it's NY or bust at this point.

I'm hoping for a nice present shortly before Christmas. But I'm not going to back that up with anything other than the warm and fuzzy feeling I get when I think of that happening.

I had an interview and I got the complete email on 11/19 (I had the interview request before the complete email though).

And I didn't go to an Ivy undergrad.

Do you think those of us who got a complete email 11/19 and no interview are hopeless?

I also went over answers to potential questions so many times in my head over the past few hours that I'm afraid I came off choppy and a bit rehearsed in the interview. Oh dear.

Seems to be everyone's experience. Seems like it's usually around 7 minutes.

There was nothing in my interview that would give him reason to reject me, and my numbers are good. And my interview was short. So I wouldn't worry.

Sorry, I'm not going to say anything more than a few days before Thanksgiving.
