Only 72k, with those stats? That doesn't bode well for me. I'm in play for both merit and need, but I'm looking for at least 90k.

I'm beginning to wonder if they are indeed going to get all the scholarship notifications out by the end of the month...just five business days left.

haha nothing major but there was a ? instead of a ' --

Therefore, this year?s application process is exceptionally competitive, and we need to act cautiously and deliberately in extending offers of admission.

it was just sad that they obviously didn't proofread it at all.

Harvard's e-mail encouraging me to apply had those everywhere. Pretty sure it is an e-mail system thing, not a typo..

Sounds kind of like a code problem between email programs. I've seen it before. Probably something to do with fonts. Were there any other apostrophes in the email? Either way, you should probably post that in the ding bar!

haha yeah you're probably right i was just really bitter when i got the e-mail, and it didn't do it to the one in my last name. whatever they got the message!

Also waitlisted. *sighs* I feel like I'm on half of the T14's waitlists. This is getting depressing.

 yeah, that's all it was. I see that all the time at work - I'm sure they actually put the correct symbol in their email, but it makes for a good laugh nonetheless!
