+1. UR 11/30, no news/status updates here either. I'm a joint JD/MA applicant. Mysterious!mayosmith wrote:+1 to 11/30 and the secret WL. We may even need to start a Secret WL Club.beesknees wrote:Aye, I've been in app purgatory since UR 11/30. Of course, your numbers seem pretty straightforward admit and you'll probably get a decision faster than mine. At this point, I'm not expecting a decision as I believe they've put me on the secret WL... so secret that I can't even know about it.

We should be in the same batch. Hopefully there's good news in store for both of us.roundabout wrote:Got the fee waiver but not priority track. Applied before xmas and RFR since 1/4. Hopefully y'all are right about finishing with PT and moving to us regular folks!

Same, RFR since 1/4 (December retaker)...how long should I expect to wait for a decision? I don't expect to get in (just below both medians), but I don't know if that's considered auto-reject.devilishangelrjp wrote:We should be in the same batch. What did you need for PT? I'd like some kind of update soon.

please, don't apologize, I'm just playing. It's quite the name, what inspired your choice?
Well, I used to be a big fan of Greek mythology when I was younger, so it's inspired by Veritas who was the goddess of truth.

Re: In at Duke!
Hey,
I'm new to the Duke forum, I applied back in early November with what are probably reject numbers, 166/3.87. I haven't bothered staying on top of the app because I know its probably an auto-ding, however I have been "Under Review" since 12/29. I had a solid PS about sexual orientation and some impressive work I've done and wrote a "why duke" about their HIV clinic. I'm starting to wonder if I'm actually being considered because I've been under review for so long, or is this normal?

Cupid,
I wouldn't rule out that you're being considered, but for the record, I've been under review since 10/19

Actually, in Greek mythology, Veritas (the goddess of truth) was known as Aletheia ... but I like Veritas better. It's the same goddess, she just has multiple names ...

Lol, initech, you beat me. I was going to say I've been UR 11/30 with slightly below the borderline stats.initech wrote:Cupid,

Re: In at Duke!
I wouldn't necessarily call you an auto-reject. you're a "consider" on LSP and above 75th GPA. Depending on your softs, PS and what particular types of people Duke is looking for, you definitely have a decent shot. Not sure how long people typically stay UR (for a while it seems like they were just plain waiting on RD applications while they reviewed the PT apps). I wouldn't start worrying just yet, I think they are just now seeing how the entire pool is shaping up and considering "mushy-middle" candidates.Cupidity wrote:Hey,

Not yet! I just read over the info sheet and it said they started reviewing the scholarship apps January 1 and will give offers on a rolling basis. Seeing as how I submitted mine in early October, I figure I should be among the first to hear. But nothing yet!someones alt wrote:Anyone received a scholarship offer yet?
