this actually happened to me

Did everyone get decisions already? Anyone pending? Anyone calling today?

pending, along with, i think, a couple others (jrod perhaps?). i'm definitely not going to call today, as they said that i am likely to hear by tomorrow. (if you're out there, reading this, my patience is only matched by my love for cold winters, snow angels and bastions of legal knowledge tucked away in the upstate wilderness).

After getting their voicemail 4 times during business hours on Friday, I finally got a hold of Cornell today. Apparently I'm in the very last batch of reserve applicants and they'll have a decision for me by Wednesday. She confirmed the class was full, but said they have movement everyday (to be hopeful, I assume).

Sentinal, aren't you still pending too? I wonder why we got stuck in the last batch. Did you apply late? I applied...about 4 hours before the deadline in January.

Fwiw, i applied in late march, prompted by an invitation to do so, and I am waitlisted as of Friday. Who the hell knows whats going on over there, but at least theyre pleasant about it.

Considering virtually all offers of admission off the reserve happened in the first week or so of June I'm venturing a guess that no one past june 11th or so got in off the reserve, its just all waitlist or reject. That said, there probably will be SOME movement during the summer by people such as us who get in off some T14's waitlist and ditch the school they sent their deposits to so not all hope is lost. Time to pretend to myself that I was rejected and be pleasantly surprised if I get in mid August and have to start packing my bags again after having moved all my stuff and paid my deposit on a DC apartment

anyone waitlisted planning on going to Ithaca for an interview?

I just got the wait list letter in the mail. It didn't mention anything about interviewing though.
Anyone know how large this Summer Wait list group is?

So I finally gave in and called today....still no decision on my file blaaaah! *sigh* No change in my status checker either....

rejected from the reserve list today.

Called: Summer Waitlist for me.

Still waiting on the reserve list... My status checker is still at "Decision" as of February 5th. I applied at the beginning of November...

Wouldn't be crazy if some last minute people got in off the reserve waitlist. Who knows maybe they are waiting till ALL the batches are re-reviewed before making the reserve admit calls. I still have hope. Either way, by Wednesday I will know.

i doubt it, but i really hope this is the case.

Waitlisted today after being deferred and placed on reserve. I think I'm happy, though I'm not all that optimistic.

Yea, Im still pending, but im going to call tomorrow. I dont know why we are sooo late. I applied early jan...

So... I received the wailtist letter today. After seriously considering my options, I've decided to remain on the list (surprise, surprise...). I guess all the waiting kind of made me emotional and basically insane which led to my determination to remove myself, but it won't hurt to keep my name in the hat for at least a little longer. I don't have anything to provide as supplementary info so I'll just be sending in the updated contact things they asked for.

Also, how does the whole interview process work? My letter didn't mention it... Should I just call and ask about it? I'd aboslutely love to do one via phone but I'm not about to trek to Ithaca, NY for something that's probably a lost cause...

still no change to my status checker either. 2/5. I called last week though and they said I had definitely been sent to the committee for review.

Oh well, I'll keep y'all posted.

Just called. File still in review. She said that they should be completely done reviewing reserve files tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope Thursday will bring me some good news!!
