Just got the waitlisted too. It's weird because I went decision three days ago and was not expecting the e-mail to take so long.

Anyone have any idea how realistic getting off the waitlist is??

OK so now those of you who DON'T want to go there....please, kindly, courteously, withdraw because, I for one, would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go there. Hehe, thanks!

I concur. Please, everybody, you who KNOW you won't go there or are so disgusted with Duke, PLEASE, please withdraw. Duke is my #1, and even though this crap has been crazy, I still want that school more than anything.

haha yeah...just like by fee waiver it wasn't made known that there was a complete OTHER set of people with PT...
even with duke 'not being that into me' i still want him so bad... what gives?

I'll be withdrawing, although I would like to get accepted off the waitlist and hurt their pretty little yield. (Really I'm not bitter, I just don't like what I've been seeing from Duke in this whole process.)

well, according to their website, for the C/O 2011, your LSAT is right at their 25th.

Some friends of mine always complain that girls love the guys that treat them the worst... maybe the same is true of law school applicants and law schools?

Yes. Durham sucks. For undergrad I think it's fine and for grad school it pretty much blows, Chapel Hill/Raleigh are much more fun. You can get season tickets for bball as a grad student though, if that floats your boat.
