Similar numbers (one pt higher on LSAT) and I went complete 1/5, decision on 1/22. I was astonished at how fast it was.ChrisCiolko wrote:Hastings was really quick for me. I applied online on 1/2, went complete around 1/7 and got accepted 2/2 via email. I was a little surprised because I'm really not over their medians.
164/3.5
I'm sorta stuck trying to decide between U of Houston on the cheap (in state, low sticker, possible $$) or Hastings (high COL, higher tuition, less chance of $)
Texas could still come through and save the day...

Yeah, I went complete on 12/15 (165/3.7) and haven't heard anything since.bongothebunny wrote:I went complete in early November and I haven't heard yet either. 165/3.88. I really hope to hear soon, because if I get accepted, I'd like the chance to go to an ASD... and I live on the east coast so I'd have to get plane tickets more than a few days in advance!btrflykss12 wrote:I went complete on Dec 11 and haven't heard anything yet. It is really fast in your case. I went complete 1/5 too. Haven't received anything since then. Hopefully next week some good news.boone wrote:Similar numbers (one pt higher on LSAT) and I went complete 1/5, decision on 1/22. Are people hearing by snail mail or email for this round?

Re: In at UC Hastings!!
I got an email when I went complete, but if you look back on this thread, people seem to be getting info via both email and snail mail. I can't tell for sure why people are getting what, so I would be interested to know if the people hearing via snail mail simply didn't put an email address, although I can't imagine NOT having an email address in this day and age...

I got my acceptance through snail mail (and I had submitted my email address to the school).

I went complete 11/7. 167/3.78. Still no word. I want to go to UC Hastings. Why are they playing us like this? If this is yield protection should I expect to get waitlisted?

I think the story here is that if you really want to go, you need to get in touch with them and tell them that (unless you're waiting on Berkeley or something). If you look at last year's cycle, they also left a bunch of people with higher numbers hanging (if they didn't withdraw beforehand).Joshua76th wrote:I went complete 11/7. 167/3.78. Still no word. I'm at work and just got a call from a housemate. My envelope seems to have arrived! She didn't open it but said it was more than one sheet and had a return envelope. That seems promising.

Re: In at UC Hastings!!
This is true. The higher number people last year were left hanging for a long time, and several got waitlisted. I think that I contacted them in March because I hadn't heard anything, and I had applied in mid-November.sbalive wrote:I think the story here is that if you really want to go, you need to get in touch with them and tell them that (unless you're waiting on Berkeley or something).
