From LSN, looks like they're taking a whole smathering of GPA (Range 3.1 - 4.3), but not so much in the LSAT realm (164-169). Bummer. I split the other way.

I'm hoping the LSAT range dips down as it gets later in the cycle when people accept offers from other schools.

I'd still expect about a 160-164 range when all is said and done. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine a lot of people turning down UCLA or USC for Irvine, full tuition or not.

Quick question to everyone who applied... dd any of you only send 2 LORs?

MOST IMPORTANTLY, it s out of curiosity...please please please please do spare any glib comments touching upon "following the instructions" and the likes

When do you guys think they'll be sending out the auto-reject notices?

Sent in 3, but I am sure that if you sent in two they would e-mail you and ask you to send another instead of auto-rejecting you. I am curious to see how far they'll bend to accept people with a desirable number profile.

+1
That would be interesting. I sent in all three and I did all of the optional essays but one (it would of been a reiteration of my PS).

I really hope I did enough to get consideration.

Your application won't go complete since they require 3 LORs. What else were you expecting?

Those req 3 lor's caused my application to not be sent in for another month. They were the only school that I applied to that req 3 lors. I think it's kinda ridiculous to tell you the truth. How many times do they want to hear "XXXX is the best person I know blah blah blah blah"

With that being said, Irvine is still my top choice.

The 3 LOR requirement is probably an attempt to weed out the people who want to apply "just for the hell of it." Also, you can never be too careful with an inaugural class, right? I think its a great thing.

i believe one reason they want 3 lors is to filter out some ppl who apply just for the heck of it.

Reading their website, this school sounds awesome. I'd be tempted to take it over more schools than is reasonable, maybe up to the t14. SOunds like it will be right up there with Hastings soon enough.

Hey, I received an email that my application was received a while back. But for those of you whose application is complete, did you get email confirmation of that too?

Thanks.

What do you know, just checked & they requested my report today as well. Feel better about getting my application in so late.

I got into UC Irvine. First school I heard back from and my top choice. I am feeling rather like a precious snowflake right now.

I submitted after the new year and they did not request my report until January 12th so I don't think you have much to worry about there.

Also, they must have offered 60 seats by now right? Even before I was offered mine? I mean, how's it going to work? And I assume they'll be offering more. What if they get more than 60 kids who want to go? Should I go sit on the front lawn? I can't imagine there are seat retainers since it's free...
I'm sure this will all be explained in the letter but just curious, even though I've asked this twice before on this same thread.

Out of the people I've seen on LSN, LSD and here that have been accepted, no one has been really confident that they are going to go.

When is the deadline to accept the admission offer? Hopefully they don't wait until April... I can imagine they'll be scrambling to figure out the seats

Congratulations on the acceptance!! The quick response time you got is encouraging.
