I went complete on 2/10 and was just rejected too (163, 3.76). Looks like the whole 2/10 batch was full of rejections.

2/10, rejected. Oh well. So far I've got one rejection, one acceptance, and two waitlist/holds. I guess I'm even.

I am sorry to hear about UW. :( On the bright side, it looks like (according to LSN) you have a lot of options. What is your first choice?

And I have a question...when was your decision date at UW? Was it also 02/10 or was it another date? I know that the decision letter was 02/10. Let us know. Thanks!

In via letter dated 2/11/09. My status check was update to say "Decision 2/11/09" almost two weeks before 2/11/09.

My mail service is officially the worst. It takes more than a week from just about everywhere in the US to get to me.

Just checked my mail on my lunch. Ding! Ohwell, it was expected. Without TLS this probably would have been a big downer, but everyone on the forum did help rationalize my expectations, as well as prepare for receiving a rejection (because we have talked about this 2/10 quite a bit). So thanks TLS :)

I find it weird that everyone with a letter dated 2/10 has been rejected, 2/11 been accepted and here I am (auto-reject) and have a letter dated 2/13 on its way. I have no idea what that means - did they just wait until the last minute to put my rejection in the mail? My decision on the status checker has a date of 2/5.

tell me about it. and here i am, auto-reject, and still in review. i haven't accepted anywhere because this is the only school that will trump all others for me. maybe they know that. i did say it, after all.

2/10 mailing date; rejected w/o surprise, given the trend of this thread. UW must be angling for a bump in the rankings. I realize my numbers were by no means stellar, but some of you 168 LSAT people should have been in easily, IMO.

And yet, in the same bunch of mail was a w/l from Vanderbilt, which takes some of the sting out of things.

I wouldn't necessarily agree. I think they are one of the schools that does venture outside the numbers game and looks to assemble a well rounded class. In order to do that, some qualified candidates are rejected because they may not add to the well roundedness (totally not a word) of the class.

That's just my take. Say they let in a 168 / 3.75 with a phd in chemistry, they might only want one of those in a class of 180. So the next one that comes along isn't admitted. Plausible, but just my $.02

I've been looking at LSN and I was so sad to find my decision date was 2/4 and mail out date was 2/12... I don't think it looks good.

But so far from what I can see on this thread.

2/9 and before-in
2/10-out
2/11-in

so I'm assuming
2/12-out
2/13-in

Good luck to people with odd number mail out dates because so far, you look like you're in good shape.

Even kids, like myself, cross your fingers maybe we might get lucky. I'm in southern California so I expect to receive the letter sometime today or tomorrow at the lastest, it shouldn't take that long. It only takes 3 days from soCal to west Texas so I asume 6 days should be plenty of time for Washington.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
