ahahahah, that gave me a good laugh. that lady looks so happy. but really, though, the waiting is getting old already! i have no idea what is taking so long for them to make a decision, one way or the other.pedal wrote:my sentiments exactly. couldn't they rotate images or something?? sheesh.Rsrcht wrote:LOL, I see her face every time I check my non-changing "in-review" status.bishopus wrote:Still no word, no mail, and no 'mail sent' update.

Re: University of Washington
aargh, I just got my "out" letter this week. I was out of town but I think it came about 2/18.
My "decision" was part of the dreaded 2/10 stack.
Good luck to everyone else applying to UW!

Still in review. I'm either a miracle reach or they're toying with me.

Shouldn't they be sending out another round of letters soon? Geez, it's been what feels like a whole week. I'm getting impatient. And I've spent another several rounds of reviewing their stats page, and comparing my numbers with LSN on every which way to determine the odds.

That's a pretty shocking rejection. My sympathies.

wow, that is really surprising....well, if it is any consolation, you have some amazing schools to choose from! good luck with the rest of your cycle!bishopus wrote:DENIED at UW. I'm in-state, 169, 3.74, decade of work experience, in at several T14 already.

Wow, sorry to hear that, it sounds like you have lots of good options though. I can't imagine it is just YP based on numbers alone, there must have been something else in your application that they either didn't like or made them think that you weren't interested in attending.
Last year they only rejected 1 of 102 applicants with a 3.5+ and 169+. Looks like you are the one this year...weird.

Today the date on my status checker changed to today's date but my file remains "In Review." This is my third "In Review" date which is beginning to give me a little anxiety. Sigh. They are trying to make us crazy. What does it all mean???

Their FAQ says this agony continues until April 1. I wonder how they do it every year.pedal wrote:Today the date on my status checker changed to today's date but my file remains "In Review."
