I got it in! I was taken of the waitlist and offered a seat in the incoming part-time class. Got the e-mail yesterday afternoon.

for those who have been getting in would you please post your LSAT/GPA/URM Status (where applicable). it could really help those currently waiting and for those in the future.

Thank you! They emailed me Friday with the same email about letting them know by the 28th. I received an offer via email this afternoon.

I got all but three of my books yesterday. The total (a mix between new and used, when good copies were available) came to about $710. I still need to buy the last three, which should total around $100. So, we're looking at $800 for just books.

peoplesoft doesn't work very well. I had to call UH about 5 times to get everything setup and it still doesn't completely function. Call the law school directly and then they'll forward your call as needed.

I got that same email last friday too.

Has anyone heard anything as of today/yesterday? I'm still anxiously awaiting and wondering if that means that I'm out of luck.

Great, my email is acting up and won't let me copy and paste. But it said "Thank you for your continued interest in the university of houston law center and your patience with our waitlist process. the admissions committee has made a few offers to applicants on the waitlist and will likely make only a few more in the next week. we plan to finalize the part-time entering class by the second week of august."

then there was another email clarifying that this was only an update, not an offer of admissions. weird that you didn't get it though? seems like it went to both ft and pt.
