AWESOME! I just spoke with the housing department and they agreed to let any incoming law students living in the Calhoun Lofts to move in August 13th instead of the 15th to accommodate 1L orientation (14th and 15th). You need to be put on an early move-in list first though by doing the following:

1. Call the Calhoun Lofts office at 832.842.5638
2. Ask to speak to "Teeba"
3. Tell Teeba that you need to be put on the same early move-in list for law students as Eamon. Make sure you have your PeopleSoft # handy because he will ask for this as well.

Teeba asked me to pass along that the construction schedule is going to be right down to the wire, and only people who call well in advance will be sure to have their room cleaned and furniture installed (if you are getting a furnished room) in time for the early move-in.

First deposit was 4/15.
Havent heard anything about a second. Though if there was I would GUESS it would be 5/15.

What did this waitlist email say? I expected a waitlist but got a rejection letter. As much as I wanted to go to UH, I am a little relieved that I don't have to deal with the administration for three years.

Decision rendered today as well. Here is all the data I have: no e-mail (yet); two decision letters mailed; applied 2/15; file went into review twice (5/5 and 5/12); 3.3/153; M.A. and work experience; TX resident; I have no fingernails left and expect to vomit soon.

I assume that I have been rejected, but am puzzled as to why they have waited so long to reject me. I only hope that means I have at least been waitlisted.

I went "decision rendered" today as well! Good luck!

Did they send your decision letter twice as well?

I went to decision rendered as well on the 26th. When did you get your waitlist response and by what method of communication did they use (email or snail mail)?

Yes. Tons. And fairly desperate for residents.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
