Anyone think there is a chance of getting off the waitlist before May? ...after the April 1st and 15th deadlines for some schools?

You could put a seat deposit down for another school and still wait and see what Florida says, obviously its kind of costly but you are still allowed to do it.

Wow with those numbers and getting dinged, looks like I'm doomed. Still waiting on my 3/22 DiT letter to come.

yeah Im 157/3.81 ...I thought our numbers were enough to get a WL but I guess not.

Letter sent 3/22. Received the rejection today.

3.8 GPA and 161 LSAT from an in-state undergrad, with decent soft factors (student government, campus leadership positions, community service). Wow. Cements my decision to retake the LSAT in September and apply to new schools.

This is seriously ridiculous how people with these numbers are not even getting waitlists. I hope this all backfires on them, and all these admitted students with higher than normal scores choose to go to other higher ranked schools.

a 161 with a 3.8 didn't get in?! not even a waitlist? what is uf looking for? i think they're taking that "harvard of the south" nickname a little too seriously this cycle.

i had a 3.2 and a 162.

i'm white and OOS.

my softs were nice but not extraordinary. i was a bio major, which i suppose maybe made me a little unique, and i'm 1 year out of undergrad. and that's about it for 'interesting', folks.

why did i get in and these people with way better numbers didn't?

please don't think i'm gloating, but i just don't understand. florida was my reach.

When did you get the acceptance, and when was your DiT dated?

I couldn't log into the whole name/passwords system (like some people it seems) and called the school. My letter was mailed today.

Any clues?

Unfortunately that's what it is looking like so far, but who knows maybe there are some people out there who could prove otherwise.
