Damnit I'm still waiting for mine. I'll give them until Wednesday next week or so, then maybe I'll call them?Raskolnikoff wrote:at last!

Yeah, I have been there since late Nov. I think. It is getting pretty frustrating, this is the future of my family I am trying to decide and I would prefer it not take so long.lawschool5523 wrote:same thing!! would like an answer sometime in the near future!missvik218 wrote:Don't worry, I've been "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" since 12/11horriblegb wrote:Well, still under review (12/18) and starting to get a little nervous, and I know there was winter break and everything but ahh! Alright so I was mistakenly under the impression that under review at U of F meant a decision was not far off, I think I will plan to go there and take my chances, but I really am, in the back of my mind, still worried hahaisaiah6v8 wrote:Yeah, I have been there since late Nov. This is encouraging. Under Review 1/11, hoping for a DIT by the end of this week.Cupidity wrote:I checked it on a Wednesday night, "Completed" and I checked it on Friday morning "Decision in Transit", so it went from review to decision all on Thursday. UF is an app-processing machine, you should know soon.
Anyone else gotten a quick decision? Has anyone's UR dragged on?

I've been "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" since 12/11, in-state. They're not always quick.SAE wrote:This is encouraging. Decision Pending is a hold (or a silent waitlist, if you will). A DIT is most likely an acceptance at this point, although there is pretty much no activity on LSN in the last month.missvik218 wrote:I've been "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" since 12/11, in-state. They're not always quick.
I was wondering how long the review itself has been taking this cycle.

Re: University of Florida
Now it says "Under review by committee."
This is going to be about as bearable as waiting for my LSAT score.

I sent out my app via LSAC Sunday night. Haven't heard anything back yet, but I did get an e-mail with a PDF flyer about getting all your stuff in by Friday.

If it says "reviewed and decision pending" it means they made no decision and will look at it again later in the cycle. Basically, it's a hold.missvik218 wrote:Yep, same boat. are you sure about that? A friend of mine has been "decision pending" since November and they're above both at or above both 75ths... seems strange..SAE wrote:Decision Pending is a hold (or a silent waitlist, if you will). .missvik218 wrote:I've been "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" since 12/11, in-state. anyways, I personally went "under review by committee today." My status checker went directly from "documents missing" to "under review"

UF has been super classy about this acceptance. I just got an email from a partner at a law firm offering to talk to me and answer any questions about UF or law school. I emailed them, and they got back to me the next business day. (I emailed them like Saturday night, got back to me on Monday). Also, invitation to a Florida Bar Association thin in Orlando with a pre-event thing with the Dean of Admissions.

I also got an email Monday from a Levin Law alum regarding the law school and UF, and that if I had any questions, to email or call her. She also called me today. I think it's a good move by UF.Cupidity wrote:UF has been super classy about this acceptance. I have been under review since 12/18, so I am thinking that is not the greatest sign that I have been waiting so long, no status change since then, and checking my status checker way too much

This is pretty discouraging.. But you have to take that ~2 week break into account.horriblegb wrote:I have been under review since 12/18
