Re: University of Florida
Oh crap, I just got the dreaded "Reviewed by committee; decision pending."
Will you people who got accepted withdraw now so I have a chance to get in? Thanks.
JK. But with a 158 and 3.66, I need all the help I can get.

Re: University of Florida
I just got off the phone with admissions and they said that the next round of decisions won't be mailed out until late March-early April. So I guess it's just a matter of people withdrawing so that they know who many more slots they have to fill. Looks like at least three more weeks of waiting for us!

Yes, my numbers are very similar to yours and I'm in state. My status also went from " under review by committee" on Monday to "decision letter in transit" today. Not sure what it means!

Since when do you need a 165 to get into a school with a 157 - 161 range

Not sure I follow. People get accepted with numbers above the range. 25 percent of the people who go to UF law have over 162, 25 percent also have under 156.chitown825 wrote:Since when do you need a 165 to get into a school with a 157 - 161 range

I was referring to those of us in the 160-162 range that are all Reviewed: Decision Pending.

Re: University of Florida
well seeing how the economy is awful and there is 300 spots as opposed to 400, unfortunately some people wont get in who usually would in any other year. Im sure a good amount of people 160-162 will still get in, it just might take longer then usual since UF has to be especially selective this year.

I'm guessing anyone who's DIT can be happy right now.
The rest of us are still rejected/WL:/

Re: University of Florida
i think this is the first round of rejections, sorry to be such a downer but looking at LSN from last years cycle, its about time for those to come out....i could be wrong (HOPING AGAINST HOPE)...but I would suggest hoping for the best but preparing for the worst especially with a MUCH smaller class this year, they can be even MORE picky...man i hope i'm wrong, i REALLY want to go to Florida

Re: University of Florida
There's no way this is the first round of rejections. The numbers/stats people are posting that got a decision status today are too good to be a reject round. I.E, whoever it was that said they have a 165 and got a DIT status today..those aren't exactly rejection numbers. Trust me, I have a 157,and I'd be one of the first to go. :/

I'm a resident of Florida, ex Marine, who knows, I'm pretty borderline so I'd bet on a waitlist or hold for me
