University of Florida
Hey guys, anyone else applying to UF? I just checked my status online, and it had been saying application under review, and now its just blank. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Mine also has said "All required documents received" for a while. I think I went complete on the 7th of November? For the OP when did you go complete?

I applied in early October and my status is still "All required documents received"

Re: University of Florida
I've been "all documents received" for a while. I think they send most of their decisions after December.
Anyone who applied there for undergrad knows that their admission process takes forever.
It seems the law school is more of the same.

Yeah, I'm undergrad at UF and the normal admissions process took forever! With my gpa/sat/act I should have been an auto admit, but it took them until March to tell me I was admitted! So don't worry if the law school decision process is slow too

Re: University of Florida
hey sorry to ask this but since it no longer says all documents received i am wondering if the area where all of you have that if it also says 2009, full time, JD.
I can not remember if that was always there, or just recently.

Just an fyi to those of you who are applying, I was told by the admissions staff that they aren't making anymore decisions until after Thanksgiving. So if you haven't heard yet, you can relax for a bit, since you won't hear anything until after the Thanksgiving break.
I am applying to UF Law as well, but only because I'm being forced to because my mom wants me to apply to at least one in-state school, since I am a FL resident. UF is my undergrad, and to be totally honest, I've had enough of Gainesville (and I've only been here three years, since I am graduating a year early). But UF is a great school if you want to practice in the state of FL (seeing as 85% of grads end up practicing in FL). And if you love football like I do, you can't beat it!
Good luck to all those who are applying!

Re: University of Florida
To be totally honest, if you are a FL resident, tuition is ridiculously cheap to begin with, both for undergrad and law school, so I don't think raising the tuition is all that big of a deal. Granted, if you are out-of-state, it might be a different story, but what do you expect in this sort of economy? So many of UF's programs have been cut down or eliminated all together because of the wonderful budget crisis that has affected all the state universities in Florida, not to mention UF's own personal budget deficit.

So this means they've sent decisions out to some people already..?hopeforthebest wrote:Just an fyi to those of you who are applying, I was told by the admissions staff that they aren't making anymore decisions until after Thanksgiving. Their website says they don't start yet, and nobody on LSN has reported being accepted.. I'm just curious...

Re: University of Florida
I guess...? I don't know anyone who has heard back yet, and you would think that I would have, seeing as I am a UF undergrad and the majority of my friends are applying there, but that is simply what the Admissions Office told my friend.Boyk1182 wrote:So this means they've sent decisions out to some people already..?hopeforthebest wrote:Just an fyi to those of you who are applying, I was told by the admissions staff that they aren't making anymore decisions until after Thanksgiving. Re: University of Florida
I have an update for everyone anxiously awaiting some information on their UF apps
My status checker, too, changed from "All required documents received" to a blank space. Today I received an email from UF Law Admissions stating that I am now under review and they will make a final decision between "now and early April". A lot of latitude in that time frame of course, but I'm willing to bet it will be sooner rather than later for most students who applied early in the cycle.
Good luck to everyone.

My status said "All Required Documents Received" for over a month, and it is now blank. Does this mean that file application is under review?
