Do you think that the admissions people all go on spring break too? That would majorly suck .midrangejumper wrote:they're on spring break now so im guessing we wont be hearing anything via status checker movement if you haven't already got a decision letter in transit

Re: University of Florida
I just received my rejection in the mail. My status checker said "under review, decision pending" until today, and the later was dated 3/6. 3.62, 158, in-state, non-URM. Good luck to everyone else. Tulane is the last school I have a shot at this cycle, so wish me luck, but it looks like I won't be going to law school next year.

Hey Geo, I think 3.4 is the cliff for OOS 164s. From the beginning I thought I was a waitlist/reject.
Good luck with GULC.

Thanks Mike, don't think GULC will come through but hopefully Fordham PT, or Emory, Wisc. Where are you hoping to head this fall?uncle mike wrote:geoanthem wrote:This is weird. Sorry to hear about all the rejections.
I have been reviewed, decision pending since 1/22. Applied mid-November. Anyone else in my situation? Any guesses as to which bucket I might fall into?
3.83 / 156 / OOS / non-URM / strong soft factors

I Don't think UF gives a big URM boost for Hispanics, since they probably have a big contingent attending from South Florida. Just a thoughtproject40 wrote:rejected at florida today too

Emory is a great place. I did UG there and loved it. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I am a little disappointed I haven't heard back from them yet...

is everyone who got rejected so far from going to decision letter in transit so far dated back to 2/28? I havent seen 1 acceptance from the 3/6 batch of letters going out... not looking good for me even with a 3.45 165

did these people that got rejected go to decision letter in transit on their status checkers? and what date did they go from "under review" to "decision letter in transit" if they did?

Re: University of Florida
Why would Florida be rejecting anyone >= 162? On LSN , 162 and up looks like a lock. O.o

Getting real nervous here, upper bracket GPA but non-URM and a 155. I didnt anticipate my score being this much of a factor. Applied to all state schools and 2 private ones....

I don't think we could even BEGIN to speculate. They seem to have no recognizable pattern yet...they've rejected people already w/ numbers much better than mine.Maybe they just haven't gotten around to me yet. Either way, there seems to be no understandable rhyme or reason.gator06 wrote:Sorry to hear about all the rejections.

Re: University of Florida
Got rejected today too...
So I've been accepted to several good schools, waitlisted at Virginia, rejected by a provisionally accredited school that offered me a huge scholarship prior to applying....... and now this!
I don't understand admissions at all at this point
