Haha. I'm going to guess earliest is this Friday. Likely sometime early next week. How many people do you think apply ED to Penn total for both rounds? Anyone?dietcoked wrote:Just looked up the Penn 2019 thread just for funsies and it looks like ED 2 has two admission waves (1/22 and 1/29) so maybe there is hope for an earlier wave? Hmmm!!!

I don’t know both rounds- but I know that back when it was one round Dean Post said in an interview that it was between 130 and 200 people apply ED on averagesurfsup12345 wrote:Haha. Last year's first two January waves were Jan 12 and 23. This year, they've done waves on the 10 and 16...hoping for another wave early next week again (although this may also include first round of waitlists/dings!)Hstrat wrote:When do you think the next RD wave will be?

Is going UCR2 at this point (as opposed to like March) any sign one way or another? Like does it usually precede an acceptance, or do people often get dinged?

It's Penn's policy to have every candidate reviewed twice so all it means is that they're closer to a decision on you.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:Is going UCR2 at this point (as opposed to like March) any sign one way or another? Like does it usually precede an acceptance, or do people often get dinged?

Re: Penn Law c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
So if the date was UCR2 yesterday, does that mean that a decision was made yesterday and just not released? Or does that phase take longer?mwells56 wrote:It's Penn's policy to have every candidate reviewed twice so all it means is that they're closer to a decision on you.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:Is going UCR2 at this point (as opposed to like March) any sign one way or another? No it means it's under the second review.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:So if the date was UCR2 yesterday, does that mean that a decision was made yesterday and just not released? no. UCR2 I believe is the 2nd round of reviewers look at your file. then after they are done, you will have a final decision.ChutzpahSaxa15 wrote:So if the date was UCR2 yesterday, does that mean that a decision was made yesterday and just not released?
