This is credited. I'm also a splitter, and sent a Why Texas, then got the interview request soon after. Still pending, but that's a better place to be than rejected.
Are you ED or RD?
RD.
I'm ED, applied in early October, and have heard nothing. I was under the impression that submitting a Why Texas on top of applying ED was redundant, but I'm starting to reconsider. Maybe I should submit one anyways...
I'm just so confused about this radio silence and its driving me insane.
I'm same situation. I feel sick about this... I thought my numbers were pretty par the course for the school?
WHAT DO WE DO
I've been baking bread a lot and crying. The mileage you get out of those activities may vary. Like, regarding Why Texas, I'm pussyfooting around on whether to send one in or not. Like if they wanted one, they'd ask, right? Like assuming I never got into this forum obsession and all the advice online, I wouldn't have known that a Why Texas essay is even a thing. It's unreasonable for them to expect something like that unprompted and gathered from internet advice, right? And being ED, it's no duh we wanna go to Texas. This is agonizing.
