Did you retake in December? I did and I'm wondering if they're waiting for the December scores.
yeah I did retake. idk if Michigan holds apps for future LSATs right off the bat though.

I remember reading on their website that they said something along the lines of "if you feel confident in your app then submit it, we will review it up if we feel your future LSAT score may be more indicative of your admission then we will hold it"

so I think they check your app out but maybe if your numbers are ehh but they may want to admit you they prob then hold you until after your future LSAT score is in

FWIW, I also retook last weekend but have already received admission in November using my June score (172).

For previous acceptances, how long did it take for you to receive your letter in the mail after you got in via status checker?

I just got my Michigan status checker and I think they messed up inputting my birthday - (switched around the month and date so instead of 1st October its 10th January)

Is it worth it to email them and get it corrected? Or is it nbd?

Are you international? The US does it month/day/year as opposed to the rest of the world that does day/month/year.

Yup, but I entered it as month/date/year and just double-checked on my transmitted app lol

Has anyone who submitted in the first couple weeks of November gone complete yet? Wondering if it's still about a month in between getting your status checker and going complete.

I submitted within the first few days of November, and went complete about 2 weeks ago.

I didn't submit in early November, but it does seem to be about 2 weeks between received and complete. They received mine on 11/19, and my status was updated to complete when I checked today. (12/4)

So I've been admitted and I'm wondering if there's any merit to submitting a Why Michigan essay in addition to my PS and the other optional essay I had in my application, just to round out my app for scholarship consideration. I'm a Michigan native and it would be really great if I could stay in state for law school. My stats are just fine for UofM (GPA>Median, LSAT=Median) so I feel like I need any boost I can get.

Does anyone have thoughts on this/any experience to give insight?

Mine changed to today’s date for the “last updated” part of the status check. I submitted my app on 11/14 and I think I went complete about two weeks later like everyone else. But that’s it and they’ve been updating the date I think every week. Otherwise radio silence.

The date updates every day, that's like Michigan's thing.
