So I know this is a little out of the blue, but does anyone know whether we need to / should still submit FAFSA and CSS stuff to Umich even if we get merit aid (asking because my email explicitly states I'm no longer eligible for their need based aid)? I'm guessing the answer is no, but I just wanted to make sure.

I think the FAFSA needs to be in for loans.

I just submitted FAFSA and not the CSS profile since I'm not eligible for need aid!

Not to jump the gun because I haven't even been admitted yet, but I get a strong feeling I will be in Ann arbor this fall. Seems like my chances at t6 $ are nowhere near where I thought they'd be.

I heard about your WL at Chicago, which is crazy, but have you heard back from Columbia/New York?

No, but it's become evident that with the increase in applicant quality and the anti kjd trend that I probably won't be getting enough scholarship money to justify going to an NYC school with the insane COL even if I do get in.

Is it bad that I’ve been spending a lot of time on Google looking at photos of the law quad? Soooo beautiful

Also can I request we change to poll to be able to be updated? And could we include options for what ASW everyone is going to?

Nope, not bad. Be next level like me and go look at the law school on Google Earth. You can place yourself in the law quad and get a 360 view. ;)

Yeah, you're right. I've actually decided I should move in across the street from every law school I'm interested in, really show my dedication.

Exactly, how else are they supposed to know you REALLY wanna go there??

(also if it wasn't clear from this statement and as I've mentioned ITT a few times I'm currently a UG in Ann Arbor so if anybody has any questions about the town or the University as a whole I'm always down to talk Michigan. Also the law quad had been under construction for months and it's really taking away from the aesthetic)

On a scale of 1-10 how cold would you say you are on a regular basis?

edit: 10 is really cold

This is actually an interesting question because my freshman year and this year there have been polar vortexes but my sophomore and junior years it was uncharacteristically warm. I'm from NY so it's not like I'd ever experienced prolonged periods of warm or cold so I think I'm a decent measurement.

Honestly in the two years that it's been particularly cold I find that your get used to it pretty quickly. I've gotten to the point where it can be like 15-20 degrees out and I make the 5-10 minute walk to the gym wearing shorts. In general when it gets really cold (like single digits) that's when I wear long underwear and a trapper hat and I'm usually good.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
