Does anyone know if certain waves are for URM’s without stellar numbers I know some URM’s got some but they already had stellar numbers for non URMS.

Are JS1s sent via email or does the status checker update (or both)?

It's all good. You guys have killer GPAs and your day will come too. Maybe a bit later than it did for the 175+ crowd, but it will.Bush v. Gorgeous wrote:+2. How long until it's time to contact admissions re: status staying at "received," not "complete?" It's been about two weeks for me, and most people are getting faster turnarounds.

Wanted to point out there is an unequivocal difference of lsat scores necessary to get into law schools depending on URM status, and as a URM, I wanted to find out more information that is particular and more helpful to myselfRamenEgg wrote:Wanted to point out the underlying narrative here that URMs are somehow less/un- qualified. As someone in a similar situation (URM with a less-than-stellar number), knowing if certain waves are more URM-centric would definitely be helpful. I don't think jimmyplayer601's comment was intended to be demeaning/offensive.

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
When I looked through the Harvard 2020 thread, I noticed that there were both JS1 and JS2 waves that were purely made up of URMs without “typical Harvard numbers.” I’m holding out for one of those, should I not get one in the coming waves.AlPastor wrote:+1jimmyplayer601 wrote: Wanted to point out there is an unequivocal difference of lsat scores necessary to get into law schools depending on URM status, and as a URM, I wanted to find out more information that is particular and more helpful to myself
