A little late to the party here, but also got a JS2 today!!! Any idea when the status checker update/email is supposed to arrive? Starting to think it may have been a prank call...

+2 FWIW, they're not even 2/3 of the way through the JS1 waves (if this year parallels last year). I'm adjusting expectations too (sitting over here with my 171), but I don't think any of us need to give up just yet!

Are you supposed to try and divulge new info about yourself during your interview? I'm thinking now that I more or less reiterated stuff in my app.

You definitely should not be upset. That would be an insanely fast turnaround. I had my JS1 a week before the first wave of JS2s and was not in that wave, but was in this one.

AFAIK, not a single person who received a JS2 today interviewed after the first week of January. We’re safe.

Thinking back on my interview, I feel like I was so nervous that at least 50% of what I said was absolute fluff. I really was convinced I would get dinged solely on the basis of a flubbed JS1. But I got in today! So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
