Omg the meltdowns on this thread today, lol.
You guys! Gentle reminder: you’re all amazing, whether or not you get into Harvard. Your self worth is NOT tied to law school acceptance!
I was a first wave (first day!) JS1 who didn’t get in during the December JS2 wave. And after a little crisis, I realized: my life was awesome before I applied to HLS, and it won’t be any less awesome even if I don’t get in.
Breathe!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if they did a URM wave of JS1’s soon, now that they have a picture of what the applicant looks likeusaorbust wrote:Also under the 25th LSAT and above 75th GPA URM with no JS1. complete early Nov.jimmyplayer601 wrote:alexeats wrote:I haven’t and wondering the same thing. like a poster earlier said, everyone here is an accomplished person with legit points of view. without it you wouldn't be here. everyone needs to calm down a bit and not let emotions get the best of us. those who are waiting for their js1s can be a bit stressed waiting for their chance to interview having spent a good deal of effort in this black box process whereas those who've received it may also be in twitches about next steps. let's not let it blind us to the fact that many truly exceptional and successful people never got a chance to apply let alone make it to this school and vice versa. also if it helps, as far as results are concerned it's still early in the cycle.

I like the way you think. Hoping admissions agrees. U Chicago recently requested an interview for me and I was in shock. I love being in shock.jimmyplayer601 wrote:I wouldn’t be surprised if they did a URM wave of JS1’s soon, now that they have a picture of what the applicant looks likeusaorbust wrote:Also under the 25th LSAT and above 75th GPA URM with no JS1. complete early Nov.jimmyplayer601 wrote:alexeats wrote:I haven’t and wondering the same thing. How so? Mike Spivey's latest blog post seems pretty positive for concerned applicants to top schools.etramak wrote:These cycle updates from Spivey really kill me
