Re: Columbia c/o 2021 Applicants Thread (2017-2018)
had my interview yesterday... I was only asked about 4 questions (why law, what type of career do you imagine for yourself, why columbia, how did you get interested in your major), and then I spent the rest of the time asking questions. Overall went pretty well, but as it was my first interview, I wasn't as eloquent as I should have been.

Ugh I felt the exact same way, I immediately thought of many other things to say! But hopefully that won't be such a big deal.ticket wrote:had my interview yesterday... In the allotted time, how many questions were you able to ask?ticket wrote:had my interview yesterday... I believe I asked 4, but it would really depend on the types of questions you're askingsoca_dancer wrote:In the allotted time, how many questions were you able to ask?ticket wrote:had my interview yesterday... I asked three, and RT on the timing variability. I'd say have four ready just in case, or a followup to one of the three.ticket wrote:I believe I asked 4, but it would really depend on the types of questions you're askingsoca_dancer wrote:In the allotted time, how many questions were you able to ask?ticket wrote:had my interview yesterday... I was reading the what to expect when you're expecting thread and saw that it only mentioned Columbia decisions of acceptances and holds, does anyone know if these are the only two decisions columbia gives?

Re: Columbia c/o 2021 Applicants Thread (2017-2018)
LSN has rejects here and there, but large scale, Columbia seems to hold / reserve a very large amount of people relative to the rest of the T13 and perhaps law schools in general.soca_dancer wrote:I was reading the what to expect when you're expecting thread and saw that it only mentioned Columbia decisions of acceptances and holds, does anyone know if these are the only two decisions columbia gives?

Just got an interview invite! Honestly a little surprised because my numbers aren't really auto-ding OR Hamilton level, but I've been having a lot of success with my PS/LoRs so I'm cautiously optimistic!

Got an interview invite... I'm RD and my stats are not Hamilton level (above median GPA, above 75th at LSAT) so I'm a bit worried what this means since I know most do not need an interview to be accepted.

What are Hamilton level numbers ? Also, do we know how many people get that each year?FriedChickenHero wrote:Got an interview invite... Sorry, I just assumed that people who received the Hamilton had both 75ths but I actually haven't done the exact research.black_mirror wrote:What are Hamilton level numbers ?
