Be careful posting this stuff. Adcomm's read this board and if any are from Columbia, there probably aren't many McAuliffes who interviewed at Columbia today.
Tbh I don't know why this would matter unless your conduct on this forum would disqualify you from admission.
Yeah I mean most of this stuff can be found anywhere online, I know how stressful interviews could be, so I'm always happy to help with tips :)
Would you PM me? I would love to hear the questions. Thank you!

I'm starting to get nervous. Submitted late November, LSAT>75th, GPA at 75th, no interview request yet. Is this a bad sign?

It isn’t. Even though there seems to be a big interview push, it could very well still be unnecessary for admission. I wouldn’t worry about it at this point

Does anyone ever get scholarships, specifically named scholarships, without interviewing? I've got Butler numbers but haven't heard a peep from Columbia.

Per past threads yeah they do. So I wouldn't worry.

Also, seems like we should expect first wave of acceptances today/tomorrow...

Doesn't Columbia do RD notifications by snail mail? Has that changed?

It has changed. Been email for a couple years from what I have read of previous year's threads

Are we thinking decisions are coming tomorrow around 2:30pm? Last year was two days after MLK day @ 2:10pm.

Do people think those that haven't been interviewed are in contention for this first wave (or any other). I know there appear to be more interviews than usual this year, but do we think there will be a bunch of admits who haven't been interviewed?

I was explicitly told in my interview that they do not require an interview for admittance, and that interviews are random.

Thanks, that's comforting. It's just without an interview invite or any status checker changes I've seen no indication that they'd be at all interested in me. But that's really good to know.

Curious if "random" is relative. Like random within a certain group that is a likely admit? Or maybe random for borderline candidates? I mean, I know that surely it's not random for the whole applicant pool! Admissions are driving me INSANE

Might mean that my admittedly horrible interview only served to push me into the waitlist pool, rather than get me an admit...

Oh trust me, after my interview I'm not expecting much.

I know what y'all mean about randomness. I feel that as an international student my chances of being admitted without an interview are quite low, for instance.
