I would actually guess, that for continuity purposes, this suggests a wave before Thanksgiving (then the 2nd wave can start interviewing right after the holidays). However, if this coincides with the last year's wave, you might be right.Platopus wrote:I believe up until Thanksgivinng there were spots, which would probably mean a wave the week after that. I believe that corresponds pretty well with the waves from last yearblack_mirror wrote:People who got interview invites - how far ahead were you allowed to book your interview? Yeah that's a good idea. I have next to no dressy clothes that fit me (lost 40 pounds, nbd ) so I will be on the prowl this black friday to be surerachelac wrote:I wore a dress and cardigan. Don’t worry I didn’t either, and I already got into duke, it’s deff not necessary.

But Chicago specifically requests hrs/week as part of any resume whereas Duke does not (unless I’m mistaken). Are you already under review? If not, I would think that it’s worth it to send an updated resume.jimmyplayer601 wrote:joooookchang wrote:Just realized I did not add hrs/wk in resume. fml

Whoops, yeah I’ve been under review since the 31st, so I won’t send an updated one. I don’t think it’ll tip the scale per say, guess I’ll see what’s up when the next wave of interviews comes out

If it helps, I forgot to add the hrs/wk on my resume as well, but I got an interview. I haven't been accepted or anything, so I guess it could still turn out poorly for me, but at least I can say it didn't turn into an automatic rejection.jimmyplayer601 wrote:#gobroncos wrote:But Chicago specifically requests hrs/week as part of any resume whereas Duke does not (unless I’m mistaken). Re: UChicago c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018)
I highly, highly doubt it’s fatal and would never mean to suggest that. It might be the sort of mild annoyance that would cause an already marginal candidate to get waitlisted or denied. That’s why I think it’s worth it for folks not under review to send a revised one if they have a chance. Otherwise, probably not a concern in most cases.Dickens wrote:Same. Forgot to add that, also got an interview request. Freaking out a bit, but seems like it’s not uh...fatalandysimbi wrote:jimmyplayer601 wrote:#gobroncos wrote:jimmyplayer601 wrote:joooookchang wrote:

Fuck I forgot too. Not too concerned since I likely won't attend without killing the Feb test and negotiating $$$

Also just had my interview and I agree with all of the above. Very friendly, nice interview. Was told the first round of decisions won't be until January, so it'll be a long wait.Platopus wrote:Just had my interview, and I think it went really well. No curve ball questions (everything was pretty much from the "list") and the interviewer was really friendly. Twenty minutes on the nose. Feels really good to have it out of the way. Sounds like it will be a while before regular decisions go out.

In reference to the list are you referring to the questions you listed a few days ago?Platopus wrote:Just had my interview, and I think it went really well. Just had my interview as well and many of the questions were from that list Platopus posted a few days ago.soca_dancer wrote:In reference to the list are you referring to the questions you listed a few days ago?Platopus wrote:Just had my interview, and I think it went really well. Good to hear there were no weird ass questions. Mine's on the 27th.Platopus wrote:Yes, most of the questions were pulled directly from that list. In the same boat: complete 10/19, UR 2(?) 10/31... no interview request from Chicago yet, but have received JS1...joooookchang wrote:When do you guys think the next wave of interview requests will be? (went complete 10/12)
Currently bummed out because I got JS1 but no inverview request from Chicago.

So no new interview requests since the first wave, right? Getting some anxiety over here with no Chicago interview request or JS1...

Does anyone know how likely you are to be admitted if you were invited to interview?
