I've been UR1 since the third week of November and am over one 75th and over the other 50th. Should I be concerned? I feel like I've seen a lot of people with lower scores and similar completion dates get accepted or at least UR2 by now.

I've been UR1 since 11/21 with similar stats. I keep getting more concerned the more I hear about other people seeing movement. I'm not sure what to make of it. Did you get the email that others have been receiving?

I'm in the same boat, and did not receive The Email. I don't know if there's any way to tell what the adcoms are doing and what they're process is like, and since UR2 isn't even necessary to get in for NYU I'm just telling myself I'm such a solid applicant they have no need to review me again.

I'm in the same situation as you. Where did you hear UR2 isn't necessary?

My application went complete in late Nov/early Dec. Think it changed to UR2 on Dec 30th, but there’s a chance it’s just UR1. I really want to go to NYU and my LSAT score is lower than NYU’s median. Should I submit Why NYU? No weird email from them last week.

I have a scholarship (specifically Furman) related question: is admissions still considering those, or would we have received notice with our acceptance to if we got a scholarship? /if they're still considering, does anyone have the timeline on that? Somehow the info on NYU's website isn't totally clear to me.

My impression is that no scholarship movement has happened yet - for named or other scholarships. Calmly (ok not really) waiting for the application to be released.

When will we hear more information regarding named scholarships (RTK, Furman, etc)? I was admitted yesterday but forgot to ask about it on my call.

Invitations for RTK interviews should go out late February/mid-March.

Yeah, I wouldn’t. The email was basically asking everyone to be patient so that’s what I’m trying to do. They know we want to attend, a LOCI is best served when you’re trying to convince them you still would attend off the waitlist.

agreed. not sure what benefit there is to expressing a "continued interest" this early in the cycle. i think you effectively get one shot at LOCI (others may disagree; open to discussion there). but, in any event, i think a LOCI would be better saved for June if you're on the waitlist.

I went ur1 11/13, ur2 12/22. I got the email like Jan 7th/ the day of the second wave of weird emails. 3.98 GPA, 160 lsat, urm
