Re: NYU c/o 2021 Applicants (2017-2018 cycle)
Just checked my NYU status checker, and apparently I went UR2 on 1/20 - a Saturday. Some poor soul was in on a weekend working on admissions. My condolences
For those interested, this is the first movement I've had here since I went UR1 on 11/29.

The BLAPA dinner invite isn't showing up in the mailings section of my tracker anymore. Not sure what to think...

I didn't get the email either, but this would seem to suggest people who did have a longer wait in store than what was previously assumed.PWADatUNC wrote:No, I did not get the emailPLUTONO wrote:At any point did you ever receive a "hold tight" email?PWADatUNC wrote:UR2 today (1/22) Submitted 11/29, UR1 11/30, first movement since November

My status checker just changed to DLS. What time does the ASW usually start working so I don't keep obsessively checking?

It was around 1:15 PM for me last Thursday (New York time), and I saw someone else say 1:00 PM for them too in a past yearcwasser3 wrote:My status checker just changed to DLS. What time does the ASW usually start working so I don't keep obsessively checking?

Thanks! I hope it's a good sign. I didn't expect to go from UR2 (1/19) to DLS so quickly. Maybe because I was at UR1 since 11/20?ella12 wrote:It was around 1:15 PM for me last Thursday (New York time), and I saw someone else say 1:00 PM for them too in a past yearcwasser3 wrote:My status checker just changed to DLS. To echo ella, I could access the ASW around 1:15 PM.cwasser3 wrote:Thanks! I hope it's a good sign. I didn't expect to go from UR2 (1/19) to DLS so quickly. I went UR2 on 1/15 and DLS 1/18, so the turnaround is pretty fast. Fingers crossed for you!

Have we figured out if everyone goes DLS all at once or in waves? Trying to figure out if I should keep checking or not...

Pretty sure it is all at once, but I don't have a bunch of evidence to back this up. It seems like everyone did at once last Thursday, but I could be wrong.OtisRedding24 wrote:Have we figured out if everyone goes DLS all at once or in waves? Trying to figure out if I should keep checking or not...

People are saying it can take awhile. Most didn't get access until after 1. I'm hoping for the best for all of us.Teacher wrote:DLS but cant get into admitted students website. Bad sign or neutral? So stressed!

I think it would still be early for NYU to send out WL/rejections (someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think they usually dont start until mid-Feb) so I think you guys have good news coming your way!!cwasser3 wrote:People are saying it can take awhile.
