All quiet for me too this week (as always! :D ). I have relatively low numbers for H though, so don't read too much into it.

Hi all,

I am a long-time lurker and first-time poster.

Is there anyone who get admitted off the Harvard waitlist with an LSAT score of 169?

On lawschool numbers, it seems like only people with 170+ get admitted... :(

I can't speak to that, but I got a 175+ and the only thing I've read from Harvard was in the New York Times :P

I'm not holding out hope...

Does the fact that there hasn't been a ding wave yet mean there's still another js1 or 2 wave coming?

Who knows!?

[Punctuation used for dramatic effect, but really, we're better off trying to read actual tea leaves, folks].

Incredible that a white supremacist organization such as HLS would even permit someone so progressive as you to be on the waitlist.

The withdraws part was clearly a joke but the rest of it wasn't. If you're gonna make a statement, own it. Don't try to claim joke when people call you out on it. How do you think you'll be able to stand up to the white hegemony at harvard without a backbone?

All things equal, it's always better to have someone who isn't a straight white dude. There, see, I said it! Now back to desperately awaiting validation from HLS.

Hi folks - no more race discussion here, please, it derails from the topic at hand. Continuing the discussion may lead to a ban. Thanks.

That sounds perfectly reasonable, but as a native Cantabrigian I would probably add as a PSA to anyone that if you found what I said in any way controversial--I truthfully didn't think it would be, as it was meant to defuse (?) tensions--you will likely find yourself very out of sorts in the only somewhat sarcastically deemed People's Republic of Cambridge. That's all!

*Does Sir Patrick Stewart quadruple take* wha-wha-wha-what?

Update: Okay, these rankings don't make sense to me. Should I be feeling foolish for picking NYU> Duke now? At some point you just gotta tune them out.

Totally agree about tuning them out. When you look at Law School Transparency, it still isn't clear to me why there would be that much movement/change.... Except for GULC - their employment numbers suggest that the drop has been a long time coming.

I can't decide how I feel about there not being a ding wave yet.
