Their waitlist guide seems to indicate no:

HLS wrote:CAN I VISIT CAMPUS?

All prospective students, including applicants, are welcome to visit campus.

Visitors to Harvard Law School can visit the Admissions Office in Austin Hall to pick up a self-guided tour.

As mentioned above, guided tours, class visits, and in-person or virtual appointments with members of the admissions team are not available.

I don't think it really matters for H, whereas it would moreso for a YP school.

Also I think exams are over? So you're literally going to be walking around empty buildings - I think a strongly written LOCI or supplement would be a more effective and cheaper use of time

OK that's what I really think but I didn't want to jinx it or make JESSICA (HI JESSICA) delay it to Wednesday just to stick it to us.

Below is a summary for everyone about the last few years' initial JS1, JS1b and JS2 waves. I know there is usually some sort of trickle later, but I'm not including those dates here because they are awfully difficult to nail down and listing them wouldn't be useful to most people. (JESSICA: please do not interpret that as a reflection of my work ethic. Thx!)

Maybe OP can add this to the first post in this thread for convenience and for future reference...

2014 Waitlist (c/o 2017):
JS1: Tues 5/6 (interviews took place Thurs 5/8 and Fri 5/9)
    JS1b: Tues 5/13
JS2: Thurs 5/15 (went to both those with JS1bs on the 13th and those with post-WL JS1s)

2015 Waitlist (c/o 2018):
JS1: Thurs 5/7 (interviews took place Mon 5/11 through Thurs 5/14)
    JS1b: Wed 5/20
JS2: Wed 5/20 (yes, same day)

2016 Waitlist (c/o 2019):
JS1: Fri 5/13 (interviews took place Wed 5/18 and Thurs 5/19)
JS1b: unclear...I could have sworn I saw posts about it but can't find any, so I might be wrong. Might have been like 2015, when JS1b's seemed to either not take place or occur in the same call or on the same day as JS2's.
JS2: Wed 5/25 (seemed to mostly or perhaps only include post-WL JS1s)
    Ding wave: Thurs 5/26

2017 Waitlist (c/o 2020):
JS1: Thurs 5/4 (interviews took place Tues 5/9 and Wed 5/10)
JS1b: Wed 5/10 (emails to pre-WL JS1s asking for updates about plans for the fall) and Thurs 5/11 (calls).
It was confirmed that some people who didn't send LOCI's got the email and/or the call, as did some who DID send LOCI's.
JS2: [to be updated SOON, G-d willing!]

It's not clear whether there was one last year, but typically it came shortly after the first JS2 wave. Really not sure there's much added benefit to digging deeper--historical precedent suggests we should except some acceptances in the near future, and possibly another wave of interviews after that. On the upside, even if you don't find yourself getting called up during those periods evidence and anecdote suggests that the process keeps rollingat some level thereafter, so chin up because it isn't over until it's (definitively) over!

Which eventually it has to be, yknow, because classes and all that.

no, last year was the worst year for WL in recent years, the first wave was extremely small with only 18 persons and there was not a second one at all, with only periodic admissions later in the summer

Deducting some administrators, it seems it is quite filled already. Hopefully we don't see a small wave like the one we saw last year (only 18 JS1s in May)

and of course there must be some students who forget to withdraw at this moment after they decided to go elsewhere, hopefully we can see a substantial reduction in the Facebook group in the next few days~

¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Noteworthy barometer, but agreed I'm not sure how representative it is as it's unclear how many people have self-removed after choosing another school. If this was something that was tracked last year/previous years could be helpful for comparison purposes.

I've been keeping track.

May 2nd 2015: 547
May 4th 2015: 539
April 28 2016: 617
May 9th 216: 601
April 28 2017: 592
April 29 2017: 594
May 1 2017: 590

2015 was a great year for WL acceptances. 2016 was terrible. By FB count alone, this year isn't looking great but still better than last year.

2016 looked like:
First WL JS1s reported May 13th
First JS2s reported May 25th
First dings reported May 26th

2015 looked like:
First WL JS1s reported May 7th
(No JS1bs except for international)
First JS2s reported May 20th
First dings reported June 18

2014 was:
First WL JS1s reported May 6th.
First JS1bs reported May 13th
First JS2s reported May 15th (went to both those with JS1bs on the 13th and those with post-WL JS1s)
First dings reported June 17th

FB count 581
A little bit better than last year

Let's guess the time the first JS2 is reported on TLS.

My (Grad PLUS) money is on 11:42.

In 2014 (c/o 2017) it started in the late morning or early afternoon and went until at least 3PM.

In 2015 (c/o 2018) it started around 10:30AM and most people on TLS reported by 2PM, though somebody reported that they were called at 6:07PM.

Ini 2016 (c/o 2019) the first JS2 reported on TLS was at 1:30PM, though someone made reference to another thread where, apparently, someone claimed to get a call in the morning. Nobody reported getting the call in the late afternoon or evening (nothing around 5PM or 6PM like in 2015).
