Checking in! JS1 below both medians and white as sour cream. I guessed they liked my one liners enough to keep me around...

Checking in, JSnone. Anyone have any insight as to why they say we do not recommend submitting additional LORS and why/how strict they are about it? Was planning to submit one but saw that

Did you guys get an email to check your status checker? I checked it but never got an email which I thought was weird.

I've seen the figure 20-25-% get thrown around.

JSnone, Snowy White, below the 25% both, great softs apparently. I am surrounded by red on LSN graph. How do I translate this into admission, that is the question, to modify Shakespeare.

I think it varies heavily by year. Just looking at LSN, last year there were 91 WL'd (who didn't withdraw), and only 4 reported being eventually accepted. The year before it was 17/115.

Obviously, super incomplete data there, but it shows a pretty big variance.

Are there different chances of getting off WL for JS1s comparatively to JS0s heading into the WL?

Hey guys! JS1 in early 2017.

Wondering (a) why I still haven't gotten an email from them and (b) what it means to get WL with a JS1 vs none

I haven't gotten an email either but if you go back into status checker there is a confirmation that you said Yes to the waitlist.

15-25% according to LSN/TLS.

Will dig up the summary I saw in another thread.

It was only ~4% last year (on LSN).

Isn't there a likelihood, especially when it comes to waitlisted applicants, that LSN users neglect to update when they withdraw/are accepted?

On a related note, there's two LSN users with my numbers this cycle that have so many pending applications and such a low acceptance rate (in contrast to similar users) that I suspect they just stopped using the site

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
